She gets chased by a bear, sacrifices her iPhone to escape, returns days later (armed with a baseball bat) to find her iPhone all chewed up, and now Apple Geniuses don't believe her story. Things ended with Rowley buying a new iPhone because Apple doesn't cover using the phone as a self-defense weapon against bear manglings (especially when Geniuses don't believe that's what happened). What I truly can't believe is that it took me until now to hear about the iPhone's bear distracting powers, but I applaud Rowely her quick thinking.

When I first got my EEE PC, I was all giddy and excited like a kid getting his new bike or Spiderman discovering he could discharge white liquid out of his body. But just like Spiderman's liquid discharger, my EEE PC gets useless over time. Now she just lays there watching reruns of Desperate Housewives everyday.

Recently though, I have been looking for new ways for me to utilise my EEE PC and after a little searching I came across this article. Even though google is already working on an OS for netbooks, we may as well try to cram everything light into the EEE PC. I mean THINK man, why would I want an OS that can only support phone apps and functions? BECAUSE I CAN. So now instead of owning a large paper weight on XP, I can turn my netbook into a large paper weight on Android.

A Mansfield woman who was in her kitchen saw 2 complete strangers stop infront of her home and started loading her portable basketball goal up their truck.

When the Mansfield woman ran outside to confront them, they said they weren't stealing because the item was offered for the taking on Craigslist.

Turns out the e-mail address Craigslist identified as the sender of the ad belongs to one of Huwitt's neighbors, Chad Lee Hickey, an Arlington police officer. Arlington Police Department spokesman Blake Miller will say only that the department is conducting an internal investigation of an employee.

Those of you anxiously awaiting the release of the new Windows Operating System (unless you've managed to get your hands on the beta one) would be glad to know that the minimum system requirements for Windows 7 has been released.

Here's the list of initial system requirements Microsoft made available:

* 1GHz processor (32- or 64-bit)
* 1GB of RAM
* 16 GB of available disk space
* Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128MB of memory (for the Aero interface)

Maybe with abit of luck (and alot of miracle) I'll be able to fit it into my EeePC.

Story : Soft simple story, twists are kinda predictable.

Fav Scene : When he walks into his own restruant wearing the suit and his assistant doesn't recognize him.

Acting : Main guy is funny, the supermodel is really hot, the main character's female assistant feels kinda weird though

Overall: I give it a meh ~ 6/10. Try to catch it on a weekday

Shabu shabu (I think) from Ichiban Sushi, tastes like Beef Sukiyaki and is about the same (cept for the strange pot thingy)

Had some cold soba at Waraku (do not attempt to follow my foolishness). Well it wasn't bad but it turns out that Waraku serves ramen in bowl sizes Godzilla and Chuck Norris's Balls (Chuck Norris's Balls being the bigger one duh). And all I got was this puny soba.

Finally some Salmon Belly from Sakuraya Fish Mart @ Parkway. Love this stuff.

Detroit Metal City, A Must Watch !

The movie revolves around Soichi Negish (played by the guy who did "L" in Death Note), who moves to Tokyo to achieve his dream of becoming a pop singer only to end up in a death metal band called, you guessed it, Detroit Metal City.

Story : Introduction stage of the movie starts slow but amusing, but once he turns metal its all funny.

Fav Scene : At the end, the cigeratte headshot

Acting : Nice ~, the main guy acts all sissy though

Overall: Awesome Movie. 10/10 ! A must catch, even if you have to seat in the first row to watch it !

I was introduced to this link through a friend, an article in Uncyclopedia about Singapore. Very funny read. It contains everything from the Founding of Singapore to SBS Buses to Steven Lim. Here's a sample:

Also, SBS Transit (Si Beh Slow) buses always travel with the speed of a cyclist, and sometimes it will go so slow while approaching the traffic light while it's green, gaining only a few seconds of speed when the light turns yellow. When the traffic light turns red at that moment, the bus makes a brake so strong that it resembles braking a F1 racing sports car suddenly while in full throttle. SBS Transit's buses are also often old (their oldest bus is still in service since the end of World War II), and may be poorly maintained, with rusty poles and rainwater (which came in through leaky roofs) collecting inside their buses. SBS Buses come with 2 X 100" HD-III (5760 X 3240) Creative™ levitating holographic illumination displays with cinematic 10.1 Dolby Surround Sound for "TVmobile" shows.

Conversely, SBS Transit's arch-rival, SMRT's (pronounced: Ass M Mati) buses travel at the speed of light at the bare minimum, in an approach that is designed to set them apart from their arch-rival. This instantaneous burst of speed sometimes causes the buses to be dislodged in alternate realities or parallel universes. One of their longest record was 1 hour+ per interval. Often this is a very dark bus often took by spicy and hairy neighbours. Maybe it is too dark and the driver lost his way when the zerglings flood the bus with their spices and hair? This approach has made many fans out of their commuters, who switched to their buses after being pissed off at the way SBS Transit's buses are driven despite the fact that their buses are commonly infested with cockroaches (and sometimes, Grues), with air-conditioning that mimic Death Valley on hot days and Antarctica on cold ones, and a suspension system that's guaranteed to either aid in digestion or indigestion, depending on who you ask. Some of their newer buses are even designed by Pininfarina, the same Italian guys that designed the Ferraris, to ensure top performance at high speeds.

I-Hacked offers some handy instructions on how to configure Addco road signs. If you ever find yourself trudging through the loney streets of Ang Mo Kio or the Hollow Darkness Of Nicole Highway and you find the need to change an LED Signboard (for what ever reason). Enter the default password "DOTS" or if the password is changed hold Ctrl Shift and enter "DIPY" to reset the password to "DOTS".

A dog was struck in the temple while its owner was having a game with her Wii. It seems that the dog jumped right at her while she was taking a swing and after being struck, the dog stopped breathing but luckily was revived(ohhh happy ending) by a neighbor and taken to the vet .

Starcraft II Battle Report

The long awaited sequel to Starcraft is finally ....er still in production. Starcraft II's website has released the Battle Report though. It shows the alpha development phase of Starcraft II and the game balancers having a go at one another in Starcraft II. The report does give a nice feel of how the game will be played and it definately feels alot like Starcraft I. Check out the link to take a look.

Check it out, Waraku De Pasta. I was passed the receipt so I wouldn't need to remember the names of all the dishes, and I lost it. So the first pic is a Maccha Float and Grapefruit I think. The second pic is something that escapes me. 3rd is mine a half half set were 2 spaghetti's (Waraku Carbona & Something Napoleon) are served in smaller servings (HAHA The FOOLS, my conquest of all the dishes of Waraku shall be complete sooner). The next one looks like a toilet bowl with rice and finally I forgot the last one as well(poor memory). The Carbona looked creamy but tasted alittle to the plain side. Napoleon was great though, never knew you could do that was sauce and sausage.

A section of Funan's Foodcourt sells Pepper Lunch. You have to stir it yourself. Added some cheese, I think that made the rice sticky, which was also nice. Rice was fragrant and well mixed (cause it was me who mixed it), meat average, I'd say kinda worth it. Serving's small though.

This dish is amazing, not because of its taste, not because of its presentation, but because I don't have the slightest hint how it got into my phone pics.

Iciban's Set Meal, meh.... I've had better. But servings alot for the price though.

This 9km chain of green spaces spans across Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, Kent Ridge Park and ends at West Coast Park, each seamlessly linked by foot trails and connection bridges.

Though I didn't walk the entire park, it was still a nice sight to see. Looking down while walking was very nerve wreaking as well.
